Soderberg Optical was founded in 1945 by Frederick A. Soderberg. Fred Soderberg's mission was to provide Eye Care Professionals across the United States with "The Finest Service in Sight." He set out to do this with a business philosophy centered around four underlying principles:

Our Territory Managers concentrate on developing partnerships with our customers to assist them in not only providing the best products and services to the consumer, but also advise them on how to grow their own business and become more profitable. We achieve this by utilizing our vast data warehouse of information to our clients' advantage. Then, we leverage the industry data as compared with their peers and show them how to grow their business relative to this comparison. In essence, we help you set up goals and objectives for your practice that make sense based on "real" market data.
